What?! Only 3 databases? I'd want to use a brain doubler like Johnny Mnemonic. Wikipedia for sure. Google Maps or Google Earth... tough call. Is Google Cache a valid choice?

Im sure some people are attempting to cache wikipedia on their PDA's I agree, in the face of a wireless link to the internet itself, its a bit pointless. But why suffer wireless download times, when you could have the whole lot, searchable at near speed of light speeds? :P

I'm tempted to say that in good cities (ie not Adelaide) the wireless speed surpasses the cpu/memory speed of the PDA.

Your right, Paris is getting around 14.4 Mbps wireless, which would probably outdo the memory access times on my PDA. However I think it could be a while before the old iPAQ beats the human brain on the parallelisation front.
